Kathy's POV
"Brrr… brr…." My alarm rung. And I finally ended it, after snoozing it for about 3 times now.
I was just so comfortable on this bed. It was like an automatic massager, if that's a thing.
I gently sat up, rubbing my hands against my eyes. Last night was terrible. I honestly had thought my husband was there with me. It felt so real. I needed to get him off my head as soon as possible. I needed to move on.
I yawned slightly and was really comfortable in my night wear which I found in the wardrobe last night.
I felt like going back to sleep, but I had to get to the school today. I had alot to cover with my students.
I checked my new phone for the time.
"Damn!"
It was 6:55am
Shit! How could I have slept so long? I quickly made my way to the bathroom and bathed as fast as could. But no matter how fast I was, I always took a few minutes to admire my curves in the mirror.
My boob, my ass… These were the things Derek gave up for one skinny motherfucker. He was so stupid. Now, he would never get any of me or my precious body. f**k him.
I quickly rushed to the door and truly, there was a bag of clothes lying right in front of the door. Dannie had ordered them in last night.
I had no time to select clothes, so I quickly grabbed a black skirt that fitted perfectly on me. Then, I grabbed a T-shirt too. A blue one. Made me remember my anniversary gift.
In the other bag were seemingly expensive shoes. I had enough to pick from, so I just went with a leather high heel.
I was surprised as to how perfect these clothes looked on me. I looked hot. I wondered how fast Dannie boy would have scared my body enough to have known my sizes.
He even had a make-up set for me! I owed this dude everything.
Quickly, I grabbed my phone and dashed out of the room and ran downstairs.
"Good morning pretty. You look gorgeous!" Dannie called out.
He was sitting on a seat in his dining room, eating cereal and some veggies for breakfast.
How was this perfect life possible?
The day was bright enough, and I could finally see Dannie's face in the day time. He looked a bit different. A bit younger. He looked like one of the students in her class. But he had a shade on his eyes, so, I want able to detect. Besides, it was not possible. They just resembled.
The similarities were just so narrow.
"Oh, hi Dannie. I'm sorry I can't stay for breakfast, I'm running late. I'll have to leave right away. I'm f*****g late for work." Oops! I used the f word in a Billionaire's house. But he just smiled it off.
"Okay, um… I'm heading to work as well, so I'll drop you off. You ready?"
I wanted to decline his offer, but I "Was Late!".
"I'd really appreciate it. I teach at Fordston College. It's just a 20 minutes drive from here." I said and watched him walk towards me with his car keys in his hands.
His dressing looked informal for work on an early morning. He noticed I was staring at his dress.
"Oh. These? I'm not heading directly to work per se. I'll be dropping off as a friend's."
"Oh, that explains it." I answered.

The drive was a quiet one. He did not initiate any conversation. Well, neither did I. I simply took my phone and was making some calls and writing some Emails.
I also needed to retrieve all my stolen documents and I needed to get back to the each of the organizations like my banks to inform them my documents have been stolen. Or else, those thugs from last night would end up playing with my life. And it doesn't ways ends up well.
After a long silent drive, with only notifications beeping over and over again, we finally got to the school's gate.
"We are here! You gotta get going." Dannie said as he pulled over few kilometers away from the school.
I hopped down.
"Look, Dannie. I'm so grateful to you. I just don't know how to repay you. You just took a stranger into your home and made sure I was okay. I'm so grateful. I have your number stored in my phone. I'll call you when I'm able to lodge a hotel. Will be there until I rent an apartment." I said through the window, the soft wind blowing my hair calmly.
"Kathy. Do not lodge a hotel. Please. I'm not sending you away, am I? My home is open to you." He strongly offered. But it was enough. He had done enough.
"Look, I know you care about my welfare, but I promise. I'll be fine. Okay?" I said and waved him a bye, leaving him to feel… bad? I wasn't sure. But I knew I had to leave already.
Then, I walked hastily to school. I knew for a certain that the young man stared at my butt as I ran along. Silly!
Right before I got into the building, a car parked right behind me, almost hitting me.
Who was that mad driver?
That… that was my car. My husband's car. My ex husband's car.
Suddenly, the door opened and I saw Chloe walk out majestically from the car, catwalking.
She looked at me, I looked at her. I looked into the car and saw my husband. My ex… Oh God!
I thought he would feel regret and call me back. But it had come to this. He and Chloe were now together.
My ex husband sat there and stared at me. He must have noticed my new expensive and hot clothing. He shouldn't even dare to stare.
Just as he came, he drove off, leaving just me and the Devil's daughter alone.
"Oohh… Look who's hot already. I guess you were also cheating on your man as well." Chloe jested at me, then she walked freely into the building like a free bird flying away from it's predator. She doesn't know she would be attacked soon.
I grind me teeth in anger. I just wanted to rip off her skull. This was it. My day has been shattered.

"I'm so sorry I'm late. Traffic jam" I apologized to the class I entered as soon as I got in.
I got to the class late. 5 minutes late.
"It's okay ma'am. Your beauty has already been here before you." A student from the class spoke up and the rest of the class burst into laughter.
These students would always flatter me. They called me the most beautiful lecturer in that college. Even though they all knew I was married, some of the boys would offer to date me.
It was kinda fun though. At least, some kids knew my worth. Unlike my flagitious man of a husband.
"Alright, will you cut it?" I said and turned to write the topic of that day on the board. 'Hydrocarbons' and the subtopic 'HydroAlkanes'.
"So, can I see your assessments? I'm coming round to check them now. Meanwhile….."
The door opened. A student came in. He was late. Way late than I was. And this, everyone knew, was not acceptable in my class. I despised students who weren't punctual to class. And all my students knew that about me.
"Hi ma'am. Sorry I'm late. Traffic jam!"
I finally turned to look at the student. It was… No. It couldn't be.
"Dannie?"
