"Hello, Mrs. Emma. Are you alright?" Ethan calmly asked Kathy.
He wasn't sure of what he was doing. He didn't know why he abandoned better things to do at his company and came all the way here to bail a janitor out of cell. He could've sent any other person in his company to do that. He was a billionaire. He wasn't supposed to be there.
The question is… why?
"Sir, I promise, I didn't do anything. I was just standing there and then these guys came in and they threatened me and then I followed them and I saw.." Kathy paused. He was speaking too much. She was about to spill the truth.
"What did you see, Emma?" Ethan noticed her pause and asked.
"I saw that they gave someone a bag. I didn't see his face. But I didn't do it sir, believe me. I am innocent!" Kathy pleaded,
