Chapter 5:
Lost in the Moment
We stayed locked together on the couch, lips moving hungrily. I could not get enough of Sera’s taste, the soft sounds she made every time our tongues met. My hands roamed her back under her sweater while she gripped my shoulders tighter. “Sera,” I whispered against her mouth, breathing hard. “I do not want this day to end. Tell me you feel this too.”
She pulled back just enough to look at me, her hazel eyes dark with want and her lips shiny. “I feel it, Ronan. I have been curious about you for weeks. The way you get quiet in class but your eyes say everything. Kiss me again. Do not stop.”
