Lilliana's POV:

"I am the worst person ever" Anna screeched barging into my room. I looked at her in confusion not knowing what she was talking about. "I have promised we would hang out more times than i can count and bail on you each of those times" she said hiding her face in her palms. "I'm sorry" she said apologetically.

Before i could open my mouth to reply her, the door burst open relieving an ear-to-ear grinning Emily.

"So i was so bored i was starting to consider suicide, when Sasha told me that Alex called and said he was taking us all to the beach" she squealed in excitement falling on my bed beside Anna

"Well hello Annabelle, Emily. Lovely day outside. How are you guys?" I said sarcastically, Anna chuckled while emily just rolled her eyes at my remark

"Sorry. I was actually coming to talk to you about the same thing. Nate, Jason and i are going too, we were planing for it to be a sort of like a camp out. Its a private beach we have it all secured. It is going to be so much fun please don't say no" Anna babbled

I looked hesitant and Emily quickly added "please we never do anything fun together since you locked yourself up like a sleeping princess in a tower. Please you don't even have to talk to him" she made a puppy dog face, which was kind of annoying because she could get away with anything doing that.

I rolled my eyes at the both of them. "Urghh! Firstly i didn't lock myself up and secondly i am not afraid of talking to him i just don't want to see his stupid face" i stuck my tongue out at her, turning to Anna i said "no offense"

She raised her hands in surrender and laughed "none taken"

"Whattt?" Ems screeched, putting her had over her heart." that man has the yummiest face on the planet earth and you two are just haters" we all started laughing "but seriously you are just being a chicken about this whole situation" she poked at me.

I fake gasped, "no i am not" maybe i am, just a little.

"Yes you are" to my surprise it was Anna that spoke " i don't know what my brother did exactly but i know the Lilly i met when you first got here would have made him pay and moved the hell on by now"

I rolled my eyes "fine! But if he annoys me i'm going to damage his baby makers" they all laughed at my seriousness and cheered that i finally gave in.

In about an hour we were all packed and ready to hit the road. We all met at the garage and waited for the guys to make their entrances. I was wearing a pink tube bikini, blue jeans shorts and a white oversized shirt with a brown satchel. Luke walked in first with someone i assumed to be Jason judging by the goofy smile playing on Anna's lips. He strode towards her and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Babe meet the impeccable Lady Lilliana. Lilly meet Jason" she introduced shyly.

He reached out his hand and i shook it. “Finally i make your acquaintance my lady. I have heard nothing but praises from the princess and mostly complaints from the princes" he chuckled. He is handsome and nice, i can see why Anna is smitten.

I smiled brightly "what can i say? I am all about upholding my reputation"

A deep voice behind me suddenly interrupted the conversation "which is?" I turned to find a tall guy with jet black hair and gray eyes. He was hot but not as hot as Alex. Wait what? Sometimes these stupid thoughts just invade my brain.

"Annoying the princes most especially His royal highness" i said smirking "and you are?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Sir Eric, but its Eric or my knight in shining armor to you beautiful lady" he smiled trying to charm me.

I laughed humorlessly "and some how that stupid line works on girls huh?" I folded my arms and tilted my head back a bit

"I see why my best friend is crazy about you" he chuckled. As if on cue, Alex walked in making my heart stop. He stopped by Ruby and Sasha i could see them fawning over him. He had a smug expression whenever he is around them, oh well! One of those two will be his queen.

He noticed us standing by the cars, he was talking to his ladies but his eyes were on us. He excused himself and strode forward until he reached us then he stops.

"Hey" he said to me, breathlessly. I could smell his cologne.

"Hi" I said trying to keep a blank face, i had to keep my cool.

There was a long pregnant pause before Eric interrupted "hey! Hi! Oh my God this is interesting" he said earning a slap on the back by Alex.

"We should get going" he said turning to where ruby and co stood "we are taking three cars, divide yourselves into two and the last car will take the food." He informed us all.

He then turned to me and took a step closer, "do you erm.. want to go in my car?" He said lowering is voice an octave "i'll let you drive" he quickly added. The girls turned to me and glared hard straight into my head.

"No i already promised Anna I would drive over with Jason and her” i lied. Anna was about to say something when Eric quickly chipped in "they are taking the food but you can drive with Luke and i " and Emily added "i'll come too"

I quickly made my way to the car before anyone could stop me. I would rather stay back than be trapped in a car with him for a period of time.

Alex's POV:

I watched her retreating figure as I stood there like a fish in a barrel. For the last one week i have been recking my brain thinking of any reason why she acted the way she did. I knew it had to do with some guy.. Ok maybe I don't but I think so.. God this girl is driving me insane!!! I couldn’t even think properly without the thought of her popping into my head.

I felt someone loop their hand in mine. I turned to find Ruby smiling seductively at me " I'll ride with you"

"Alright let's go" i said with a strain in my voice. We got in the car and raced off. We were halfway when Eric's car stopped, we all halted waiting to know what was wrong. Eric and Lilly stepped out and switch sides, he tossed the key at her. We started driving in a convoy again with Jason in front followed by me then Eric.. or Lilly. Suddenly she swerved out of the line and bolts forward with full speed.

We parked at the beach, I noticed Eric's car isn't here. We got out and started offloading the food and drinks we brought. I heard the sound of screeching tires, loud music and someone howling. Suddenly Eric's car appears with Lilly still driving, they parked and got out. Luke, Lilly and Eric were howling with laughter and Emily was clutching her chest.

"Dude this chick is MAD" Luke roared out, laughing.

"You shouldn't have dared me" Lilly said stubbornly "now look what you've caused. Poor Ems is having a heart attack" she was laughing. God she's beautiful...No stop! I warned myself.

They moved to where we were standing and Eric came close to me "this girl is awesome man. Seriously she isn't like any of the others" he said looking at me intently as if i was supposed to say something back.

The girls all went for a swim except for Anna and Lilly who were seated on the sand talking about something. The seemed to be talking about something important, Anna trusted Lilly very much.

Lilly stood up and took off her white oversized tee. Lord! What was she thinking? She looked like a sin, i wanted to cover her up or gauge out the eyes of every guy that looks at her. Anna stood up too and the ran into the water screaming and giggling.

"Hey bro" Luke said beside me.

"Hey" i murmured not taking my eyes off her.

"Bro, you gotta stop staring it's kinda creepy, and you are starting to drool a bit" i jerked back into reality and gave him a slap on his back

"I don't drool" i protest even though i knew he was only pulling my leg.

"But you were fuming when she rejected your car ride, that much i am sure of" Eric said trying to annoy me. He is my best friend but he is an incredibly annoying.

"I wasn't" i shot at him.

"Yes you were" now it was Jason trying to tick me off, the ungrateful little prick.

"Piss off! You should be grateful I'm letting date my sister. Don't make me change my mind" i warned him, he should know better than to mess with me.

He snorted at my remark, “the only reason you're letting me date her is because that girl right there intervened" he said pointing at Lilly "somehow by God's grace you are unable to deny her anything except letting her go home" and that right there struck a nerve.

"Shut up or i'll bash your face in" i said feeling angry. I can let her go if I wanted to. I just want her to know who is in charge first.

"The truth hurts bro" Luke annoyingly added, he had been on my throat on letting her go as if it somehow had something to do with him.

"Whatever I don't really care. I have six other girls that are more than willing to be mine aside from the thousand other girls who would gladly die for me. So, she can be difficult all she wants and she will do good to remember who is in charge if she ever wants to go home" i said sounding annoyingly cocky even to my own ears. I could not let them get to me, i will not.

"Alright then, lie to yourself. You like this girl and you are wrong about her, she isn't that difficult with the right approach. " Eric said. It really sounded like he was challenging me, he knew i would fall for that. I always have.

"Oh yeah?" I shot at him, he has the tendency to be overly arrogant most at times and it always got to me.

"Yeah" he shot back smirking

"Alright then i'd like to see you try" I stated. I hate that everyone thinks I'm the one making the situation with her difficult. They don't know her like i do, they have not interacted with her like i did. She has built so many walls around herself that she see everyone as a threat to defenses and her sanity, and out of everyone else it seems that she sees me as more of a threat than anybody else.

"Care to make a wager dear friend?" His smirky face looking intently at mine. Arrogant prick!

"Fine. What do you have in mind?" I asked him.

"I can get her to tell me something about her that nobody here knows about before the night ends" he bragged "if i do., no when I do, you'll give me the new Camaro" he seemed to have thought this through but i knew getting information out of Lilly was a dead end, she would never relent.

"Fine and if i win., No when i win you'll admit she is as stubborn as a mule and I'm trying my best and you all will lay off me" i said confidently.

"Deal" we shook on it.
