See You Again
Alex's POV: I was jolted awake by her scream, it was the second time this night. The nightmares just won't go away. I woke up and held her, all she needs is for me to hold her when she has those nightmares. She says it isn't the pain that she dreams about, it is their taunting laughter and plans. "shh.. i am here" i whispered as i rocked her gently. It has been a week since we brought her home, she underwent a dental surgery to replace the teeth that were removed. The doctors said she broke a rib but there were no internal injuries and the bruises would heal naturally. They were healing but some she was afraid would never leave. I wasn't bothered about her bruises and scars, i didn't care about that, i was worried about her mental health. We had to take turns watching her at night or e
