The Choosing Game

Elimination

Since the tea party a lot has happened; the prince stayed clear of me, i was very happy that he had dropped his weird interest in me. I didn't see him until i went for the elimination hoping.. No praying that he lets me go. We went to the garden and ruby made a comment about knowing who would be going home, i was getting fed up with her attitude but who the hell cared? I am going home!

The prince made his way in followed by his sister. Anna and i were cool but we never hung out outside on the castle walls after the tea party.

"Morning Ladies" he started calmly.

"Good morning" the chorused, i rolled my eyes and looked at anywhere but at him.

"All of you are uniquely beautiful and talented ladies and the honor was mine getting to meet and know you. On that note I regret having to let one of you go" he moved to a vase of roses and begun. It was to cheesy i wanted to throw up.

" Sasha. you are safe" he said and handed a rose to her. She smiled and took it. Well surprise surprise!!

"Emily" he called. She squealed excitedly and walked towards him, he handed her a rose. she looked really happy, i was happy for her.

"Ruby" i knew it. He handed her a rose, she took it and pecked him on his right cheek then she swung her hips passed him. If only i had a gun to shoot myself.

"Melissa" she took her rose and stood by the other chosen. I was getting impatient, i couldn't wait to get the boot.

"Lilliana." The prince called

What? No? I looked at him and he was grinning like a mad man. I took micro mini steps towards him thinking of all the possible avenues for escape. I finally reached him and he turned to Anna and took the flower she held. He handed me the white Lilly flower and smiled, i took it looking confused but took it anyway I could here all the whispers about it being different because he was sending me home. Just as i was going to begin celebrating he said,

"You're safe"

He finally called Leah, Lola and Amy all giving them a single red rose except for Elena. She looked sad but all I could think is how lucky she was to get to go home. I was furious. I wondered what he was playing at, after the little speech i gave him in the car.

I finally spoke to my family last night for the first time since i came here. I realized I wasn't mad at them anymore and finally called them back, mom was in tears talking to me, dad was his usual chummy self calling me pet names and Nate his usual annoying self asking about all the hot girls in the castle. I told them that i loved and missed them and apologized for icing them out. All was forgiven.

After that i called sophia on Skype she took up almost two hour of my time with gossip about this new guy and asking how hot the prince is 'typical sophia'.

I was seriously bored after that call the i decided to work out a bit. I made my way there and head of to the treadmill first, after that I decided to go to the rings to punch something, when i ran into a wall.

"Well well well.. What do we have here" a guy that looks oddly familiar says. I just looked at him trying to figure out where i know him from.

"Aren't you a little too fragile and tiny to be here. I'm sure my brother wouldn't approve of one of his lady's being in here and risk breaking a nail." He taunted

And I finally figured out who he was, i am seriously bad with faces. "I am not your brother's lady or anything so he doesn't have a say in what I do around here and I don't see how my nails are any of your business. So run along now" i said stubbornly, i was not in a great mood.

" so much feistiness for such a small person. I see why my brother kept this one" he chuckles

" move before I show you how much hurt this small person can cause you" i was officially pissed. He laughed and raised his hands indicating surrender. I just huffed and brushed past him.

I went back to the quarters after my gym session to find emily frantically looking through her suitcases.

"There you are! We are going out in an hour with Alex" she said cheerfully.

"Who exactly is we?" I said raising an eyebrow

"Melissa, Leah, you and I. Apparently we are going in fours and we are going on a yacht. So you have an hour to find the perfect bathing suit" she rambled

I just rolled my eyes at her and went to the bathroom to take a warm bath. I put on a tee and shorts, i hoped on my bed and turned on the tv.

Emily came back in dressed in a white chiffon dress with a matching set of bathing suit underneath. She stared at me with her mouth agape.

"Why are you not dressed? Alex is outside waiting for us!" She exclaimed.

“Sucks for him” i said nonchalantly, turning back to my tv show.

“Lilly!” She screeched.

“Emily!” I emulated.

She sighed “i know you are mad that you didn’t get eliminated but the dead has already been done, you cannot sit around and keep sulking”

“Wanna bet?” I challenged

“Argghh!” She groaned and walked out of the room. I smiled victoriously and pulled the covers over me.

Just as i was getting comfortable i heard a knock on my door. Before i could ask who it was the door was opened and in all his glory, the prince stood by my door.

“What do you think you’re doing?!” I asked.

“You know the drill Sweetheart, you either get up, get dressed and walk to the car or i do everything for you and carry you to the car like a queen” he threatened with a wide grin.

“I do not do too well with threats, your highness” i mirrored his grin.

“It’s your choice really, my lady” he started walking towards the bed.

I leapt up in a heartbeat, i knew he was crazy enough to see the threat through. “You know what? You are a bully and God you are annoying!! Why can’t you just leave me alone?!” I yelled at him feeling infuriated.

“I am truly sorry that you feel that way Lady Lilliana but i cannot leave you alone” he said calmly.

“You think you are funny yeah?” I raised my brow.

He chuckled at my question “sure i am, i know for sure that if being king doesn’t work out i can fall back to my comedy,” he replied sarcastically.

“Get out of my room!” I ordered.

“Are you going to get changed or go back to bed?” He asked.

“Hmm.. let’s see, i think the later sounds just right,” i shot back at him.

“Oh well then, i guess i am going to have to help you get changed” he pulled one of the suitcases by the bed, i gasped remember my underwear is in there. I jumped to the side he stood and pulled the box out of his hands.

“will you do it yourself?” He asked in a condescending tone

I let out an exasperated sigh “just get out”

He smile and told me that he will be right outside waiting for me, i really want to punch him in his stupid smug face. I opened one of the suitcases and found a red and cream two-piece suit that has a matching pencil skirt and stuffed it in my bag. I tied up my hair and swung a red tote bag over my shoulder, then made my way out to where he, Emily, Leah and Melissa were waiting. We made our way to the limo and drove to the peer where the yacht was waiting.

We got on it and set sail. We went into a cabin where we changed into our bathing suits and went to the deck. The ladies and Alex started chatting immediately, they were all so used to each other but on the other hand i just pulled on my sunglasses and laid on a lounge chair facing the pool, reading a book.

I zoned out from reality into my book. I felt someone sit beside me, i turned to see Alex and went back to my book.

"It is really rude to ignore your date for a book Lady Lilliana" he said

"Well forgive me bit I've never been on a date with three other girls and one guy, so I wouldn't know how to act in this situation" i said not looking up from my book.

I heard him chuckle " you look beautiful by the way" he said ignoring my last comment

I put the book down, sat up and removed my shades to face him. For the first time I noticed he was wearing checkered blue shorts and a plain white shirt that showed his ripped chest. 'Stop it' i reprimanded myself

"Why did you give me a white flower?" I asked softly, i was tired at this point, really tired of fighting.

He sighed "it's not just any white flower, it's a Lilly just like your name"

"I know what a Lilly is," i said rolling my eyes.

"Yes and unlike all the roses, you Lilly are purer and more captivating. I wanted to give you a rose but just didn't seem right." He stared into my eyes and continued " I intended to make you open up to me like that flower even if i have to follow the most tortious path to get there" he finished still holding his gaze.

" just so you know curiosity killed the cat " i said warning him. He just chuckled.

Emily and Melissa came to sit with us, Leah was already in the pool. "Who wants to go for a swim?" Melissa asked. They all stood up and went in the pool Alex just sat there by the edge of the pool observing them.

Melissa has a bubbly personality with a long blonde curls to go with it and emily is a free spirited talkative. So they got along just fine. Leah is more reserved that the crazy duo but she still got along with them more than i did.

"Lilly the water feels great, leave that book and get in here now" Mel said while doing flips in water. I ignored her.

"Lilllllly come ooooOn" Emily moaned

Before i knew what was going on i felt myself being hoisted up by a pair of muscular arms and the two annoying girls giggling and cheering.

"Put me down" i began trashing around only for him to pull me more into his rock solid, naked chest. I could hear the vibration of his laughter through his chest. "Put me down you pompous Ass" I screamed

"As you wish" he said. Before I could register what was going on, I felt air rushing and water rising. I was completely submerged in the large pool. I decided to have some fun too. I came up screaming and paddling hard, gasping for air "I can't swim" I gasped "help" i went down completely. I could see Alex jump in, Melissa who was at the extreme end swimming towards me, Leah and Emily held on yo each other crying. I snickered.

Alex reached me first. He held me tight around my waist I felt the same shock I felt at the restaurant and the plaza but I ignored it. He took me to the edge and pulled me out of the water i laid still against his chest despite how much i hated it.

The girls climbed out in no time.

He put me on the floor flat on my back and started pumping my chest I could hear him mumble "No No hold on"

Then I heard Emily let out a shrill and Leah say "please do something.. Perform CPR please " just then I felt him pinch the bridge of my nose, I quickly pulled away, sat up and started laughing hard.

They all stood in shock.

"OMG Lilly I hate you! You scared the crap out of me!!" Emily screeched while Leah and Mel burst out laughing.

Alex on the other hand just sat there staring at me in disbelief.

He stood up walked towards me and pointed out his index finger "don't you ever do that to me again" he said in a voice filled with authority and added "you scared me" he added softly and pulled me into a tight hug.
