"They are here" sofia yelled.
I let out a breath to calm my nerves. It felt like i was meeting them for the first time, i was so nervous my hands were so sweaty.
"I'm coming," i said in a barely audible voice.
"Hey" Alex called.
I turned to him standing by the doorway in all his glory and gave him a shaky smile.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, striding worriedly towards me.
"Nothing.. i'm just a little nervous." I said sheepishly. It was silly of me to be nervous of meeting people i've already met before.
"Why? It's my family, you already know them. They love you." He stated with a slightly confused expression.
"I.. i just.. i can't help it. It all feels so surreal"
