I gulped down the saliva that has gathered in my mouth and jerked up as he brought his face closer to mine.
I don't know what is going on in his head, but I think I should give him space.
“I'm full,” I announced and immediately ran upstairs, not caring for the remaining food.
I entered the room and closed the door before leaning my back against it. This makes it the second time he was attempting to kiss me.
But I'm not ready, even tho I'm aware that he is my mate. I am still not ready for anything because I'm still a little confused.
How is it possible that I got mated to a crown prince? I don't even know what I truly am. How is it possible that a lowly maid is the crown prince's true mate?
I slowly moved away from the door and sat on the bed in thought.
