Chris walked forward underneath the thick canopy of the Dandran forest.
Fallen trunks, alongside green bushes, were scattered all across the ground, where he was walking.
As he walked, stepping fast in between the tall trees, Chris looked up forward and noticed that he was nearing the edge of the forest.
He could see where the trees ended, not far in front of him, and he couldn't avoid but smile slightly.
He had been walking for four hours straight, and not one incident had occurred to him all that time.
Maybe he was right. Maybe the dangerous creatures were only inside the forest, and once he got out of it, then he'd be safe.
Thinking this, Chris psyched himself up and walked faster, approaching further towards the edge of the thick forest.
