As the two dark creatures were falling onto the ground beside him, Chris suddenly heard the sound of powerfully flapping wings, right above his head. He then felt a sudden gush of cold air, blowing onto his head from above.

It's head faced downwards right at him, and it suddenly threw down the sharp claws on its feet. Powerfully slashing them across the air, aiming for Chris' eyes.
