When Chris and Quax were far enough, Chris turned around to face backwards. He could no longer see the vampire or the trap of poles, since they had winded around corners and trees, and they were now well far off. Seeing this, Chris immediately stopped running, slowing his pace down, and coming to a stop. He was now breathing heavily, and sweat dripped down his face.  He then looked up forward in front of him and saw the Dwarf, still running fast forward. "Quax!" he shouted. The Dwarf then immediately turned around to glance back at him. "Stop. We are already far enough," Chris said. Quax then stopped running, and now stood at the middle of the path, facing backwards towards Chris.  The Dwarf was smiling slightly as he watched Chris panting heavily.
