The massive metallic blade cut fast across the air below the tall trees.
It swept forward around the bark of the tree where it was attached, spinning quickly to appear on the other side of the tree.
It's sharp edge now faced forward towards where Chris and Quax stood together. Chris was looking down at the moving ground below his feet.
Massive metallic plates had appeared out of nowhere upon the ground below, and both Chris and Quax stood together upon one of the metal plates.
Sweeping his gaze around the surrounding where he stood, and also wondering what was happening here, Quax suddenly saw the sharp blade coming right for them.
"Chris!" Quax shouted, "Watch out!"
