Chapter 2

First day at job

I woke up with a sound of phone alarm, getting up from the bed and went to the wahroom. Its been two days since i got the job, first day was calm and good, i met few more doctors and other working staff, everyone is good to me except Dr john desai. He is a very demanding person and wants yes as an answer for everything. He loves to give order on everything and i will be working under him so i have to listen to him. i came out from washroom after taking a shower and looking for appropiate clothes to wear. i took a pink tops with baggy sleeves and paired it with white jeans. personally i dont like revealing clothes and hate to put alot of make up on me. After dressing up and managing my hair i went to kitchen to have a toast and preparing pancake for others. I prepared it and told jennifer to call them and eat, jennifer was my nanny, my parents appointed her when i was only few months old. she took care of me as if i am her only child. She is very old now but still helps me in kitchen, my stepmom says we dont need a new maid, since jen and i are here to do all the household chores. Obviously jen is old and i wont let her do the entire house work by herself. I said goodbye to jen went downstairs and saw dad. he was looking so handsome and i wanted to say that to him but he wont listen.

“good morning Dad!” i said

“hmm” he said while going towards dining table straight and i stared at him cursing the fact that my only family hates me. I shook my head in sadness and went to garrage. I started my car, its the one my mother had its old but A father who doesnt even greets his child, will never buy her a new car. Plus im not independent enought o buy a new one. i drove to the hospital, parked my car along which my phone rang.

“where are youu bitchh? “ sarah asked

“Just came to the hospital, you tell if everything is okay, why have you called this early” i asked.

“umm darls i wanted to remind you that we have to go to club tonight for chank’s birthday party” sarah said excitedly.

“I forgot completely!! well im not in a mood of going anywhere” i said bringing a lazy element on my face.

“HANNAHHH HOW—-“” i cut sarah in middle.

“But i know you wont spare me so yeah lets go” i said.

“You better should be ready by tonight i will pick you up” she ordered me.

I chuckeled and went inside the hospital. while greeting the receptionist and other staff, i went to Dr john’s room to get my schedule.

“Good morning Dr! How are you” i said.

“good morning to you to miss Hannah, well im not that good have a very busy schedule today” he said.

“So thats why i am here to help” i said while smiling.

“Thank you miss Hannah” he said while handling my the file, i gave him a questioning look.

“Mr George woodson is coming today around 1:00 pm with his son here, his name is Ben. He is a healthy person and had no issues previously but today Mr. Woodson called me early in the morning and told me about a sudden change in his behavior. He wants me to do some counselling for him”. He said and looked up.

“Ok so what should i do about it” i asked. All confused in my thoughts As Mr George is always in news for running an immensely successful business. He is very rich and busy man. I was all lost in my thoughts when Dr John’s voice interupted me.

“I want you to look after this case, i have a very busy schedule today and i know you would do an excellent job my dear” He said in a very calming tone but it did not feel that calm.

“But Dr John they are very big people and as you know i have no experience in it at all so ——“ i said.

He cutted me arrogantly “Do as i say Miss Hannah”.

“Ok” i said silently and went to my small cabin. it was 11:00 am and i had two hours to prepare myself. I went through his file, all worried how would i handle them.
