"Joy, you're busy? "

Vigor called me in my office.

This is rare, her initiating a talk?

"Sit down, I'm about to be finished here. "

I told her.

There are so many documents to sort out and finish, that it took me 4 hours to do.

I'm lucky enough that I completed all of the King's task earlier, it gave me enough time to complete all of these.

"Take your time. "

She said and sat down on the couch I have here in my office.

It's almost midnight, I wonder what she's doing earlier.

I returned to my work and just a few minutes later, I was done with my work.

All done, this is tiring for my eye, I have to make sure all the info are correct before I send them out tomorrow.

"I'm done, let's go get some Tea in the Eating Lounge, I'm beat. "

I told her mentally exhausted.

I can keep going and all that, but sometimes a lady needs to take her sweet rest.

Even Vigor by the looks of it hasn't rested for a while after her 2-week rest was done, which is normal for someone like her, yet I feel that she certainly needs it.

We arrived at the Eating Lounge and ordered a Tea, Vigor ordered caffeine.

That's why she hasn't rested for a while, she's been drinking those instead of Tea.

We sat on the chair close to the door so that when we are being called by the King, we can immediately leave.

"What is going on, Vigor? Got something on your mind? "

I asked her after sipping my Tea.

She drank her caffeine in one go.

That's not very good for you.

"I've been on break for 2 whole weeks after the summon remember, and I haven't even told the Hero I was one of the summoners, since then, my skills are slowly getting deteriorated because of that. "

I asked her.

She said, worried.

"My Mana has been my source of power and if I couldn't find a way to recover my Mana sooner, I will be useless in the kingdom. "

She continued, with more worry.

How long has she found out her strength is diminishing? This must be bothering her mind for while now.

I don't know anything about it but I know that all she is devoted to is to fight for the kingdom, I know that first hand because I watched her oath for the kingdom.

I was there when she pledged her life for the kingdom.

Even I and Tempo did so as well, dedicating our lives for the sake of humanity.

Despite having God as our enemy.

"I don't want to embarrass myself in front of the Hero later this morning, that just shows that I am incapable of being the kingdom's warrior anymore. "

She worries further.

I'm glad she can tell me all these troubles she is having, she hasn't shown this to anyone other than me and Tempo, though Tempo rarely sees this.

She said.

"Tempo, are you done working? "

I asked her.

"Yeah, I just got here, and even listening to your talk late, I already get what you guys are talking about. "

She said.

"I'm sorry I haven't brought it up sooner. "

Vigor told Tempo.

"That's fine, though I did notice it the other day, your speed diminished, and your punches became slightly lighter. "

Tempo said, kind of teasing Vigor, but she has a point.

"I'm gonna help her, are you with me? "

I asked her.

We then left the Eating Lounge entrance, I'm gonna head to my office, I don't know where they'll go for now.

But I'm gonna start working on Vigor's case now that I still have free time.

"Why not? Triplets of Peril are not complete without her and her strength, worse case scenario she might get demoted when she loses all of her strength. "

Tempo said and walked with us.

"I'm going to my office where you guys heading? "

I asked them.

"I'm going back to my room. "

Vigor said.

"I'm heading to the Training grounds, see if Hero is still there, I wanna duel with him again. "

Tempo said.

I asked her.

"He's pretty tough, honestly, he said he just slightly pushed me but I got knocked back so hard. "

She said, complaining about Hero Ivan's strength.

This is gonna be tricky, but I'm not gonna stop until I find a way to recover Vigor's Mana.

After that, we part ways, I started writing a formal invitation for this operation.

I've been here in my room after leaving the throne room for a while, and I've been doing all the training I do in the Training grounds here.

Because I don't really need that much space to do all of them, my room's size is sufficient.

Push-ups, Pull-ups, Squats, and Planks, I'm gonna do the sprinting later.

I borrowed 3 poles from Sir Parter so that I can do Pull-ups in my room, I'll pay them later, Sir Parter was also the one that put them together.

"Thanks, but I've been inside doing workouts for the whole night, and I kind of made it stink with my smell. "

I told her.

I feel terrible about it, but what can I do, I did my workouts inside with the windows closed.

It's so that no one can see me doing it here, it's very awkward if it did happen.

Miss maid assured.

I stopped my sprinting for a while to talk to her.

That's a good idea too, I can see how she does her running and moving too.

That way, we won't be foreign about each other's actions later.

We then run around the training grounds together, even at the same pace too.

"How long have you been in the kingdom, Miss Vigor? "

I asked her as we are running.

"I don't know how you could run and talk at the same time, but I'll do so as well, I've been in the kingdom ever since I was born, I'm 26 and so as Joy, we've been friends for 20 or more years now. "

She explained.

She's not having an easy time talking and running at the same time, I guess they haven't tried it before.

She's very nice, despite looking like a muscular lady, she can still be more considerate than she looks.

We then returned to our rooms to prepare for our mission.

She headed to the left hall while I went to the right.

And look like the maids are done cleaning my room.

I opened the door and smelled a fragrant so good I thought my room was newly made.

We then left the castle and went to the North of the walls.

"Can I take a look at your sword, Hero Ivan? "

Miss Vigor asked as we are on the way there.

I haven't been to this area of the kingdom before.

I was cooped inside the kingdom castle ever since, I wonder if people know I'm the Hero?

The buildings and settlements here are pretty standard, just like those historic times.

Is she gonna examine it or something like that?

I called my sword out of my ring and handed it to her.

"Here. "

I said.

She then looked at it.

Though there are aspects of the buildings here that are relatively advanced than what it looks.

Like the interiors, and other buildings near the walls are medieval houses.

"I think it's better you use a spare sword, just in case, here. "

She said returning my sword to me.

She then gave me another sword.

"Is my sword not good or what? "

I asked and took the sword.

"Not good, but too good to be used in this kind of mission, better save it for a particular occasion, this sword is suitable enough for this mission. "

She advised.

"Okay, I'll keep that in mind. "

I said and stored my original sword in the ring.

I'm gonna be using this, it has the same length and weight as my sword, perhaps it's for the best too.

We reached the North walls of the kingdom, and there's a familiar individual stationed there.

Wait, I think that's Barbara? It is her! Her spear looks deadly!

"Miss Barbara! "

I called her.

She then looked over to us and was surprised.

"Oh, Hero Ivan, good to see you here, do you have a mission? "

She said, asking me.

"Yeah, are you moved here? "

I asked her.

"Greetings, General Barbara. "

Miss Vigor greeted.

"Hello, General Vigor, Yes, I was stationed here after the sudden shift of the monster's formation in this area, since my area isn't that surrounded by monsters, I figure I can help here. "

She said.

"That's good to know, anyway, we have to travel through here, the King ordered us to. "

I said.

I think revealing to her our mission isn't a good idea, or does she know?

"Are you heading to the Tomb of the Chosen? "

She asked.

The Tomb of the Chosen is made by the 7 Kings of the Past to store all of their unique items so that when they all died their valuables will be preserved.

Therefore may be used by someone chosen for it, by completing a certain difficult task, they can obtain the ring that keeps all of it.

And it might be the answer to end this all, I'm not hoping for much, I just want something to help us out in this war against God.

I red the story of the Tomb earlier in the morning while I was doing my workouts.

"We do, have you heard of it? "

I asked her.

"Man, all of us Generals entered that, and failed, we don't know how? We completed all the trials, yet we didn't obtain the item. "

She explained.

Maybe it really is for the chosen.

I said.

I may be a close contender to it, but I'm not surprised if I fail as well, I'm a foreign being of this world.

I and Miss Vigor left the kingdom and went out of the kingdom walls, meeting up with hordes of those GA monsters that everyone is talking about.

They have dark skin, big arms, and small feet, horns on their heads and back.

They had some white bumps all over their bodies.

And they are 2 times bigger than us, this is gonna be fun.

"So this is the GA monsters? "

I asked.

I then slowly, as I was staring at them, my strength, suddenly rose, by 20 or more folds, I don't know where that came from.

But for a while.

Why is my spirit and power increasing? Is something buffing me?

I then realized it for a few moments.

As the monsters charged at us, it was that point.

It was a skill of mine! My passive skill, Overpower, gives me power whenever I am outnumbered, I think it's multiplied by two each enemy, but it's not the time to analyze it!

I then took out the standard sword, Miss Vigor gave me.

And slashed the one in front of me in half.

I did that so easily, it's like I was cutting butter with a heated knife.

"Miss Vigor! "

I called her, she's already fighting two.
