Chapter 4 - Did he kiss me?

I awoke to the sound of my alarm going off. I get up, brush my teeth, wash my face, and go downstairs to make breakfast. However, I see Darien on his phone at the breakfast bar. 

The second I saw Darien, everything that happened last night came flooding back to me. 

he kissed me and is sitting there like nothing happened. 

Could it have been a dream?

“Hey mom” she was making breakfast

“Hey sweetie”

I walked over to Darian and wrapped my arms around his neck and said "hey"

He said “hey” I tilted my head and said, “whatchu doing?” 

He said texting the contractor to see when they’re going to get finished”

“Oh” I replied

I headed over to the kitchen to see what mom was making and said “ well, what did they say”

He pauses then puts his phone on the counter and look at me and say “ they should be done by your birthday” 

I come and sit on the stool beside him and said “so this friday” he said yup

I’m upstairs in my room when I see dar come in my room.

He comes around the bed and lays down beside me and puts his head on my lap and says “I missed uu, you know that?”

I put my hands through his hair and say "I missed you too”

 He looks up at me and then puts his head back down and says "do you have many friends ?"

I look down at him and say "no, not really. I only have one friend and that's Aria, you know that" 

should I bring up the dream I had last night or at least I think I had? but I need to rephrase it so it won't sound weird if it was a dream 

" Ummm Darien “

“ mhmm “

“I think I had a dream that you told me that I couldn’t wear my shorts anymore "he gets up and look at me and say "really?  a dream tell me about it "  I looked at him and say "i - I I don't think you will want to hear about it, " I said looking down while blushing

 he tilts my head up with his finger and says "no really, I want to hear about it "he said with a smirk on his face

I look at him and knowing Darian, he's not going to let this go so I said "okay"  

“ Ummm so me and you were sitting on the couch eating pizza, “I say looking down, not daring to look him in the eye “ and I got up to get a glass of water and I dropped the cup on the floor and I bent over to pick up the glass a-and I felt you come up behind and I stood up to throw the glass in the trash snd that’s when uu told me I couldn’t wear my shorts any more “ he looked at me and said “ and that’s when you asked me why and I said because half your ass is out”

I look at him in complete shock 

 so it wasn't ignoring, he looks at me and says "no desire it was not a dream and I wanted to apologize for kissing you I shouldn't have done that, I had a little bit to drink last night before you Came back downstairs" 

 I look at him and say "it's okay and you're right you  shouldn't  have done it but it's in the past now  we need to forget about it, I forgive you " 

He hugs me tight and then he gets up and walks to the door and he says "okay and thanks" I look up at him and say "no problem"

 he leaves out close my door oh, I released a breath that I did not know I was holding

oh my God! Oh my God! We really did kiss and now that I think about it I can remember how his lips felt on mine.

 they were so soft and he was so rough but gentle at the same time

I  bring my hand up and touch my lips in remembrance of his
