The next day came rather quickly and unlike yesterday Mr Alfred was very much present.He was sipping coffee while looking at the screen of his computer when Aria walked in.
"Is this the time you are coming to work young lady.He asked without looking at her".
"Buongiorno signor(good morning sir)".
"What is good about the morning,look at the time you're coming to work".He shouted.
But sir it's just 7:25 am.She uttered.
"But sir it's just 7:25 am".Mr Alfred said mimicking her words annoyingly.
Mr Alfred please give it a rest will you,why do you always pick on me,me and you both know that am well on time,so what's the deal with all this.
"Am I the one you're talking to in that manner,and who is picking on you,come on hurry up inside and go do something meaningful young lady before I lay my hands on you, nonsense!".He yelled.
"I see Mr Alfred has probably yelled at you again right,cherry asked when she saw how angry Aria looked".
"Si dimentica Mai di non(Does he ever forgets not to).I just don't know why Mr Alfred is so bent on frustrating my life here".
Ohh but you do Cherry uttered.me and you both know why he is doing all these,girl you have refused to give him what he wants.
"He's not getting it,never!".Aria stated.
You know he would have fired you by now if not that since you came our sales has been so high up that he is scared that if he lets you go it's going to drop drastically,like immediately.She said snapping her fingers in demonstration.
"Yeah right,he had better be".will it ever get better Cherry or is when am skinny and dead before it will".
"Of course not,and talking about skinny,girl have you seen you,like how can you be skinny with those killer shape of yours,are you kidding me".Cherry praised.
"Si Certo(Yeah right)".Aria agreed with a smile.Cherry went closer to her and wrapped her arms around her.
"Take it easy okay,am pretty sure it's going to get...worst".Cherry uttered mockingly and started laughing.
"You witch,how dare you laugh at me".
"Sorry I just couldn't help myself you know ".she laughed more.
You know you would have been me if not that you're his 'niece'.Aria emphasize on the word niece.
"Oh shut up".she said and looked at her and they both burst into laughter.Cherry was the only one in the shop who actually liked her.the rest of her co-workers were envious of her and that made it hard for all of them to get along.
Wait a minute is Katlin here yet?.Aria asked.
Of course not,you know how she is,that one that always comes late and as usual my uncle Won't say a thing.
"I don't blame him,I mean why would he,when he's clearly sleeping with her".
You're so right girlfriend,you know am pretty sure that by the time he's done with her ,he will dump her like he did the rest of them.
The discussion got Aria thinking about the first time she saw Mr Alfred.it was a regular morning and her mom had already given her the address to his store.so she went there,but had to wait a little while,for he wasn't around.
He got back and she introduced herself to him,at that moment she knew he would be up to no good,for he was starring at her with lustful eyes the second he laid eyes on her.
He said he was expecting her but the interview wasn't going to hold there,he wanted them to go elsewhere and talk,in his word, relax.Him being that he was her mamma's friend she agreed.They went to a restaurant and he asked her to order for anything she want,and she ordered for a soft drink.
"Is that all you're going to take,you can order for anything you want I will settle the bill".He said.
"No Signore,sto bene cosi,grazie(No sir am okay with this,thank you)".she replied.
Alright if you say so.He started asking her questions about herself and the places she has worked before now which she answered.
The next thing she knew he started getting closer towards her.She was simply just observing him.
"Sei bellissima(you look beautiful)".he uttered.Do you know that?.
"Si (yes)".shereplied.
"Well you are and I like you very much and I would like to build something with you".
"Non capisco Signore(I don't understand sir)".
What don't you understand,I want us to be very close,see I will take very good care of you,just tell me what you want and it's yours.He said in a boastful manner.
She wasn't that surprised, maybe just a little.she knew she was beautiful and often get admirers left and right,but to think it was coming from him, someone old enough to be her father and a friend of my mom's, though they weren't that close was surprising.
She just couldn't believe her ears,and at that time she wanted to say something they'll both regret but her phone suddenly started ringing.shelooked at the screen and the words'mamma'was written on it.
Her mom sure knows the right time to call her.She knew what she wanted to say so she didn't bother picking up.the screen of her phone was faulty which Mr Alfred seems to noticed.
She had wanted to go get a new one today but couldn't because of the day arrangements.
"I can see you're in need of a new phone,I can get you one,what type of phones do you like".
She had no doubt he would be able to get her a new one ASAP,a very nice one at that.she had heard that he owned a few shops and warehouses too.But what came out of her mouth was.
"No you don't have to,I was planning on getting one today".And I have a boyfriend.she lied just so he would back off and continue with the main reason why they are here.
But she should have known better.He wasn't going to leave her be,even if he couldn't have his way with her,he will find other ways to torment her.
"Era un vecchio uomo grasso e donnaiolo che non riusciva a tenere la cosa tra Le gambe per se(he was an old fat womanizer who couldn't keep the thing in-between his trousers to himself)".
She never told her mamma what happened for she didn't want to get her worried.
"Hey earth to aria".Cherry said snapping her fingers at her.Have you been listening to what I have been saying at all.
"Yeah,I was just thinking about something".
"Sicuro(are you sure)?".
"Yes I am, don't worry about me". come on we've got some work to do.she said leading the way to the parking store before they get a scolding from that 'old pervert '.
