On the way, Colby received a call from his grandmother. He quickly looked at the phone, noticing the caller ID. It was his grandmother. But since he had already agreed to have lunch with Sienna and her son, he decided to let it go for now. He’d return her call later in the evening when he was back at the Blackwell Residence for dinner. It wasn’t urgent anyway, or so he thought.
As they arrived at the restaurant, Colby began to talk about his upcoming trip back to his home country. He hadn’t been planning to stay in the city for long, as he had returned primarily to take over his family’s business. It was a big responsibility, but one he was ready for.
Sienna, who had been listening quietly, raised an eyebrow. "So, you're leaving soon?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
