"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Runa asked, worriedly.
"She's ready for it," Kee replied for me, annoyed with Runa's constant hovering.
Runa is such a mother-hen. I love it most of the time, but today... she is being a bit much. Understandably so, but Kee has the same thin line of patience as her mother.
"I'm sorry, I'm just nervous for you," Runa said, pouting at me.
I managed to offer her a smile.
"Aunt Lenny is plenty nervous enough for the entire planet. She doesn't need your nerves too," Kee told Runa, not sounding rude, but definitely trying to get Runa to chill out.
"I know, I know, I'm sorry," Runa replied, giving Kee a shy smile.
"Don't be sorry, Runa," I said. "And cut her some slack, Kee
