~ One hour before the ceremony ~

Wow... I knew that this ceremony was a big deal and that Mum was going all out for me, but... I wasn't expecting this.
I thought that the grand ballroom was a sight to behold. Mother had all kinds of decorations strung from the ceiling. There were gold, silver, and purple silk strands hanging across the high ceilings with little orbs of light floating around it all. The stage had the king's throne, the queen's, and one of each of my siblings, even the deceased ones.
