"Open my gift next." I said placing the purple gift box on the unwrapping table in front of Katie.
"What is it?" She smiles excitingly.
I hold my hands together, "Open it!"
Everyone gathers closer as Katie opens the gift box. She unties the big pink bow and removes the top. She pulls out the wrapping paper and reaches in to take out a smaller box. She looks at me curiously as she opens that little box, where she takes out a baby sized gold charm bracelet.
She holds it out around her index finger, "Scar this is gorgeous."
"There's more."
She gently fixes the small jewelry back in the box and places it on the table. She takes out another set of wrapping paper and then pulls out a pink cashmere blanket.
"This is beautiful." She goes.
"Unfold it." I say excitingly.
