As soon as I got to the hospital, I flew out of my car and ran into the huge white and grey building.
The smell of cleaning products hit me like a ton of bricks, assaulting my poor nostrils as I whooshed through the hallway.

I ignored it, making a beeline for the reception desk.
“Hi, I'm looking for my mom. Ms Cameron. She was brought in here by my brother, Jace,”
“Oh, you're Jace's sister,’ she said with a smile. “He told me to look out for you. I'll let him know you're here,”
She picked up her phone and dialed a number. "Jace, your sister's here," she said, then gave me a reassuring nod. "He'll be right out,”
