Emperor Toma POV
Pacing in my private office, fear and worry coursing through me. I summoned Frank to discuss the anomaly. I can’t have a wild demon running around a muck before Toya’s coronation.
“You requested for my presence your eminence,” Frank bowed as he addressed me. He respected me enough to know when to change from being my friend to my servant. An attribute that seems only one of my children could master from him.
I motioned for Frank to sit down. We sat facing each other on traditional Japanese pillows that were on the tatami floor. I never cared for the western type of office.
“I’m quite curious, Frank. Do you know anything about the missing books from my library?”
