Stacy’s POV
It’s been six days now, almost a week since I haven’t heard from Toya. I guess he thinks of me as less than a friend. He didn’t reply back to either text and I don’t want to appear needy or pushy. I guess I can make friends here in Kyoto. It's now Tuesday, my second day of work teaching at an elementary school.
The school lunch was ok yesterday and today. I have to eat with the students in their simple classroom. It was really cute to watch them serve each other lunch. The portion sizes though are small. With Kira now being active since we arrived in Japan, my appetite for food has increased. I don’t know if I can get used to eating these palm-sized portions.
