Watching Takeru jump when I snuck up behind him was priceless. I think he left a puddle of sweat on the desk he was sitting at. Big T still looked a bit shocked at my presence, he was always a bit slower when dealing with people. I laughed and rolled from side to side laughing at his frightened face.
“Toya is sleeping, we probably shouldn’t disturb his beauty sleep,” I finally say as I point to Toya’s room. “We can look for this anomaly on our own. The two of us can find it without his help.” I tell Takeru as I point to the two of us. “We need to get out and do some fieldwork. If we’re looking for a needle in a haystack, we need to be at the haystack first. All we need to do is go to someplace where there are a lot of people and look for anybody suspicious.”
