Stacy’s POV
I’ve never had afternoon tea before. I mean, I’ve had tea before but Kana explained the other day there’s a whole subculture around having afternoon tea.
Meeting up in the mid-afternoon, Kana and I chatted about, or more like gossiped about work, and family. She taught me a little more about the subculture of afternoon tea. She did ask me why I came to Japan. I didn’t say much about my past. Or why I came to Japan, I just skirted around those topics. Changing the subject, we talked about the type of guys we like.
“How was your date the other night?” Kana asks me.
“It was ok,” I say, trying to be modest. “I was supposed to go on another date with him yesterday but he canceled on me. Saying he has to work.” I continued in a disappointing tone. “I’m starting to think twice
