Chapter Fourteen
Choose Your Fate
Clanging of the bullet pushing from the barrel clenched in on one of the monsters before them, knocking their body to the ground. Samantha was unsure if Jason had killed them or if he landed a good spot on them. Ringing in their exasperated cries and yells, one launched themselves for her.
One of the giant cats meet them halfway, their rock claws digging into their skin as their blood splashed to the ground in a fit of rage, screams emanating from the howls of hell. The others joining in as the monsters pushed off from their previous places, Jason and Jenna responding in kind.
Flashes of black and red filled her eyes as the gun in question continued to ring out, bashing its way to the back of her skull, forcing her to cover her ears as best she could.
