Arrawatta County: in New South Wales is one of the 141 Cadastral divisions of NSW. It includes Ashford. The name Arrawatta is thought to be derived from a local aboriginal word for the area that includes Arrawatta County
Argy Bargy: noisy quarrelling or wrangling
Billabong: an oxbow lake cut off by a change in the watercourse. Billabongs are usually formed when the course of a creek or river changes, leaving the former branch with a dead end.
Bora: the name both to an initiation ceremony of Indigenous Australians, and to the site on which the initiation is performed. At such a site, boys achieve the status of men. The initiation ceremony differs from culture to culture, but often involves scarification and may also involve the removal of a tooth or part of a finger.
