a visitor the mansion

Mister Johnson slowly took a deep breath, opened the door, and went to leave Rick by his room. On his way back, he found Grandma standing, her expression stern with unspoken words. She seemed angry, but decided to keep her thoughts for tomorrow. Mister Johnson slowly returned to his room, closed the door, and went to bed, letting sleep wash over him. The next day, on the other side of town, Lisa's alarm rang out at 5:30 AM. Then, she woke up straight away and began to pray, seeking guidance and positivity for the day ahead. After her prayer, she made her bed with practiced ease. She headed to the bathroom to bathe, ready to start her day. Emerging refreshed, she dressed in a blue jean skirt, a white blouse with a white shirt, and tied her ponytail with a blue ribbon. White shoes and a matching handbag completed her outfit, and she felt ready to take on the day. When Lisa finished dressing up, she went out and headed to the mall. She bought all of Mister Johnson's family's favorite things, from Grandma's beloved chocolates to Rick's favorite video games. With her arms laden with shopping bags, she took a taxi to the mansion. When she arrived, the butler opened the gate for her. Inside, she found Bellamy and Brianna busy with their house chores. She offered to help, and together they tackled the day's chores, from laundry to cooking. With Lisa's assistance, the work was done in no time, and they spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each other's company. As they were enjoying each other's company, Brianna thought to herself, 'Why doesn't Grandma want Lisa to get married? She's a strong and wise woman. Look at how she came and helped us with the house chores - we didn't take all day to finish like we usually do.' Meanwhile, Bellamy had her own thoughts, 'What is Lisa trying to do? Is she trying to impress us, thinking we'll accept her into our family because of her helpfulness? She can try all she wants, but she should know she's not going to be accepted here. And when Grandma finds out she's been here, she'll be furious.' Lisa, on the other hand, was also thinking to herself, 'I think Rose is right, I have to do everything to make this family love me and accept me, and understand that blindness is not an obstacle. My background shouldn't be a barrier either. Even if I'm blind, I can still work, I can still do everything others are doing. Just because I don't see, doesn't mean I'm not capable - all my other senses are functioning, and that's what's important.' Just as Lisa finished thinking, Grandma opened the door and her eyes landed on Lisa. She was startled, took three steps back, and her expression changed to one of shock and disapproval. Then she composed herself and went inside. Once she got inside, she greeted everyone and asked Lisa, with a loud voice, 'Why did you come?' Lisa quietly replied, 'I just came to visit you guys. You are my family, can't I come and visit you? Or do I always have to come just to see Rick?' Grandma was angry and said, 'Okay...' as she went upstairs to her room. As she was going, she met Missus Johnson and announced, 'Lisa is downstairs.' Missus Johnson was very angry to hear that and shouted, 'That blind lady is here! Who is she looking for? What does she want? And where is Rick, the person who loves her?' She quickly pushed past Grandma and went downstairs. She called Brianna and Bellamy to the side and told them, 'From now on, you're no longer talking to Lisa. You're not to engage with her or acknowledge her presence.' Missus Johnson went to join them. Grandma also came downstairs, and they all sat silently, watching TV. When it was time for dinner, they served everyone, but Lisa was not offered any food. As they were eating, Mister Johnson arrived, and he was shocked to see Lisa. He greeted her and went to eat. Then, Lisa decided to take her leave, wishing them goodbye before departing. She left without being spoken to again, the silence a clear indication of the family's disapproval. Right on her way home, she was busy thinking to herself, 'What have I done to this family? I'm doing everything for my love, but it seems like they think I'm only after their money.' She felt misunderstood, knowing that her intentions were pure. 'If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't even bother to see me,' she thought. 'They think I'm like the others, blinded by greed, but I'm different. I have a good heart, and I know I have so much to offer.' As she walked, her white cane tapping gently on the ground, guiding her through the darkness, she felt a sense of independence. The cane was her trusted companion, helping her navigate the world with confidence. But even with its help, she couldn't shake off the feeling of loneliness. The sky grew dark, and suddenly it started raining. Lisa didn't have an umbrella, and her black hair was getting drenched. She was getting soaked, but then a kind stranger approached her. 'Here, take this umbrella,' they said, offering her a choice between a red and a blue one. Lisa preferred the blue one, which matched her cheerful spirit. She smiled, feeling a small sense of joy amidst the turmoil, and continued walking under the shelter of her new blue umbrella, her white cane leading the way. After ten minutes of walking with her blue umbrella and white cane, she got home and changed into a bright yellow dress and black shoes. Just as she was finishing up, someone knocked on the door. She went to answer it, and to her surprise, it was Mister Johnson and Missus Johnson standing on her doorstep. Mister Johnson kindly apologized for not treating her well earlier, inviting her to come back to the mansion for dinner. Lisa hesitated, recalling how she was ignored and not offered anything to eat. 'I think it's best for me to stay away,' she said. But Missus Johnson quickly raised her voice, insisting, 'No, we didn't notice you, Lisa! Come back now, dear, everything will be fine.' Lisa refused at first, but Missus Johnson's persistence eventually won her over. She took Lisa's hand, locked the house, and led her to the car. The drive to the mansion took twenty minutes, and soon they arrived at the grand estate. When they arrived, Bellamy and Brianna welcomed Lisa with warm smiles. They had already prepared the dinner table, complete with fine china, crystal glasses, and a delicious meal. They led Lisa to the dinner table, where she took her seat, prayed, and then began to enjoy the wonderful food before her. She savored each bite, feeling grateful for the kindness and warmth surrounding her. Meanwhile, Bellamy and Brianna were busy packing some gifts for her. Mister and Missus Johnson were determined to make Lisa feel loved and appreciated. They played some lively music and danced around her, making her laugh with their silly antics. Mister Johnson even tried his hand at comedy, telling a joke that made everyone chuckle: 'Why did the cane go to therapy?' he asked, grinning mischievously. 'Because it was feeling a little "unbalanced"!' Lisa giggled at the silly pun, feeling happy and content as she continued to eat and enjoy the evening. On the other side of town, Rose was back from work and decided to call Lisa to ask about her day. But when Lisa didn't answer, Rose headed down to dinner with her family. Her mom asked, 'Rose, how's Lisa? Did she manage to go to Mister Johnson's house today?' Rose replied, 'I don't know, Mom. I've been trying to call her, but she's not picking up.' Rose's mother knew Lisa very well, having watched the two girls grow up together in their small village. Lisa was a sweet and gentle soul, born into a family that should have loved and accepted her, but instead, they had cruelly abandoned her at birth because of her disability. They had seen her as a burden, believing she would never be able to contribute to their lives. But Rose's mother knew the truth - Lisa was a kind and capable person, and she deserved all the love and respect in the world. Rose's mother's eyes grew nostalgic, thinking about Lisa when she was young. She remembered how Lisa and Rose would spend hours playing together, inseparable as they explored the village. They'd walk to school together, hand in hand, and fetch water from the river, carrying the heavy bags on their heads. Lisa's adopted family had been a blessing to the village, always willing to lend a helping hand. Despite their modest means, they had big hearts, and everyone loved them. Lisa, in particular, had grown into a wise and strong young woman, refusing to let her disability define her. She was determined to live a full life, and her spirit and resilience inspired everyone around her.
