*Paint brush scrubbing against the canvas*   "I'm not quite getting my strokes right, maybe I need to  play some music." Helena tells herself as she stares at the painting that she is working on.   The majestic view from the terrace of her Villa doesn't seem to give her enough inspiration. She stands up from her stool, takes her phone from the table, and then plays a blues instrumental song from the latest album of her favorite guitarist.    "I should change my subject. I've done a lot of landscape painting anyways."   Suddenly, she remembers the dream she had earlier that almost caused an accident.   "Who is that guy from my dream earlier? I can still vividly recall his face. I should probably draw his face before I forget it. Maybe that would help me get some answers."   She then starts to paint his face. Stoke after stroke, she begins to gain her rhythm. Much to her surprise, her speed and fluidity while making the portrait painting was astonishing. She has never painted this efficiently in the past as far as she can remember.   "At this rate, I would probably finish this in less than 2 hours."   Hunger then interrupts her pace.   "Oh yeah, I forgot, I haven't had lunch yet. I should probably grab something to eat at the clubhouse."   Horizon Villa is a high-end Resort and Villas in Tagaytay City. It has 50 Villas that you can book for Php30,000.00 to Php50,000.00 per night (Roughly $600.00 to $1,000.00). Villa number 5 is one of the more expensive ones because it's facing the Taal Volcano. In the middle of the resort is the Clubhouse where restaurants, swimming pool area and other recreational facilities are found.   *Wine pouring*   "Thank you very much." says the guy in maroon polo, while smiling at the waiter.    The guy see's Helena entering the Cibus Restaurant.    "How about that, I think this is my lucky day." Says the guy gleefully.  Helena was greeted by the waitress as she enters the restaurant.   Helena was greeted by the waitress as she enters the restaurant.   "Good afternoon Ma'am, table for how many?" asks the waitress.    "Hi, table for one please"   "Very well Ma'am, please follow me."   Helena then sits on the table beside the window near the pool area.    "Well, well, well. Look who's here." says the guy in maroon polo.   "Lyndon? what are you doing here?"   "Well, I was about to ask you the same thing. Maybe it's destiny that brought us together here."   "Aren't you getting tired of your cheesy lines?" scoffs Helena.   "I'll never get tired of it, especially when I'm talking to you." replies Lyndon with a wide smile.   "You never know when to give up do you?"   "Of course. Someone as precious as you is worth all the patience in the world."    "Well you'll have to wait till the end of time cause I would never want to be in a relationship with anyone, ever."   "We'll see about that." replies Lyndon while giving Helena a wink.    Helena just rolls her eyes in disbelief.    "I'll leave you alone for now, 'cause I just have a short business meeting. But I'll be back, you can count on that."    Lyndon leaves the restaurant to go to one of the conference rooms in the clubhouse.   "Great, now my planned relaxation is ruined because of this pesky guy." Helena sighs.   "Well, I'll just have to isolate myself in the Villa. That way I won't have to deal with him."   Lyndon is one of the suitors of Helena. He's a good looking man like most of the guys who pursue her. He has a well toned muscular body, 5'11'' height, fair complexion, hazel eyes, and a cleft chin. Most women would be weak on their knees if Lyndon stares at them, but not Helena. She doesn't seem to be attracted to Lyndon at all.   After finishing her food, Helena goes to the bookstore that was at the clubhouse.    "Oh wow, they sell paint brushes here. I think I'll buy one."   She looks around the arts and crafts section of the store, and sees that they were selling beginner paint brushes. One of the brushes got her attention.    "This one looks really familiar. Where did I see this kind of brush before?" She tells herself while trying to recollect her memories.   The brush is the cheapest one on the store. It's a number 5 round tip brush. It looks ordinary and has no special qualities to it, but somehow, she was attracted to it.   "I think I'll buy this one please." Helena tells the cashier.   "That will be 25 pesos ma'am." Replied the cashier.   After purchasing it, she heads back to her Villa to start working on her painting again. This time she uses the paint brush she just bought. The quality of the brush was quite bad compared to her other brushes, but somehow she felt comfortable using it.   *Cellphone Ringing*   "Oh, I forgot to switch my phone to silent mode."   She got her phone from her pocket and sees that it's an unknown number. She ignores it and switched her phone to silent mode, then she puts her phone on the table behind her.   "Darn it. She's Ignoring my calls again." Sighs Lyndon. "I'll just have to find out which Villas she's staying in right now."   He heads to to the Reception and asks the receptionist.   "Hi. May I ask which Villa is Occupied by Ms. Helena Virtusio?"   "Hello sir. Before I respond to your question, we would like to inform you that the privacy of our Guests is one of our main concerns. So before I can give you her Villa number, I need to confirm it with her first." replies the receptionist.   "Well I'm a very close friend of her, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind."   "I'm sorry sir, but we need to verify it with her. It's the company's policy."   "Darn it!" Lyndon says to himself.   "May I know your complete name sir?"   "It's Lyndon Rivera"   The receptionist then calls Helena's Villa to confirm.   *Telephone Ringing*   "Hello?"   "Hi Ms. Helena, this is Joanne from the reception."   "Oh hi, what's up?"   "A man named Mr. Lyndon Rivera wants to know what Villa you are currently in. He claims to be a good friend of yours. Can I share the information to him?"   "No no no. Please don't tell him. Yes he's friend of mine but I don't want to be disturbed right now."   "Okay ma'am, I will let him know. Thanks"  replies the receptionist who then puts down the telephone to end the call.   "I can't believe that guy!" Exclaims Helena. "He's really getting into my nerves." Says Helena while shaking her head.   She then goes back to the terrace to finish his painting. After a few finishing touches, her painting is now complete.   "I don't know who you are, but a part of me tells otherwise. I need to know who you are, and why I dreamt you?"   Her painting painting shows an the image of the guy in his dreams. His lips are smiling but his eyes seems to be filled with a different emotion.   -End of Chapter-
