*Vehicle Tire Screeching*
"Hey, Karen. I'm here outside your place. I'll just park here."
"No, you can't park on the street, the Makati Traffic enforcers are very strict. They'll give you a ticket for that.''
"Geez, fine, I'll park at the basement." Helena ends the call and heads for the basement parking.
Karen lives in a Salcedo Towers in Makati City. One of the Bigger Cities in Manila and their Traffic Police are very strict in enforcing the traffic laws of the city and they spare no one.
Helena enters the the elevator at the lobby and heads for the 9th floor. She checks her watch and sees that it's already 10 in the evening. Upon reaching the 9th floor, she rings the bell at room 925. Karen opens the door.
"Wow, you got a haircut? You look like Ursula from the little mermaid." Helena teasingly says.
"Ha ha, very funny. Come on in Maleficent." sarcastically responds Karen.
Karen is a bit chubby and is around 5 foot 1 inches in height. Which is quite short compared to Helena who stands at 5' 7''.
Both of them sat on the couch.
"Judging from your face, you've probably had a rough day, didn't you?" says Karen.
"Yes, a really rough long day. First, I almost got into an accident heading to Tagaytay. Then, my pesky suitor Lyndon was also at the Horizon Villas who kept bugging me. And lastly, The freaking earthquake. Instead of a relaxing weekend, I ended up even more stressed."
"Yeah, that's really rough. I'm sorry to hear about all that. I'm just glad that you are okay."
"Thank you. Anyways, remember when I told you about the dreams I kept on having?"
"Yes, what about it?"
"Well, today I had 2 different dreams. one was when I was driving which almost caused and accident, and the second one was when I fell asleep at the couch on the villa. The dreams had different scenarios. But in both instance, I was with a young guy and we were having fun conversations."
"Do you know who that guy is?"
"That's the thing, I don't really know him, but something makes me feel that I kind of know him, it's really confusing."
"Well yeah, that is very strange. can you describe him, maybe I can recall if you've met him before."
"Oh, I just remembered, I painted a portrait of him. I took a photo of it. Here take a look."
Karen looks at the Photo closely to see if he knows the guy.
"Hmmm, I don't think I know who that guy is. He certainly doesn't look like one of those Model Hunks who keeps on chasing you."
"It just feels very strange to me. I don't know if I'm going crazy, or paranoid, or maybe there's just something for me to find out about him."
"Maybe you just need some help. We can try finding a counselor, or maybe a therapist to try and see what your problems are."
"Or maybe we can find a Psychic to help read my mind, just like what you suggested the yesterday, right?"
"What? No. I was just messing you yesterday. It was a joke. It's 2021, Psychics are not real. I'll help you out. I'll reach out to some of my contacts and I'll find you a good Therapist okay? You're gonna be fine. Trust me."
"Thanks Karen. I don't know what I'm gonna do without you."
"Don't sweat it bestie. I'll always take care of you." Karen smiles and holds Helena's hands.
*Hand Knocking on the door*
"Yes?"
"Sir, Ms. Virtusio is already here for the 9 a.m. appointment. Should I let her in now?"
"Yes, please let her in."
Helena enters the office.
"Hi, Ms. Helena, how are you today?, I'm Mr. Noel Cabigting."
"Hi, Mr. Cabigting, nice to meet you. I'm sorry to bother you on a Sunday morning. "
"No worries at all. So, what brings you here today?"
"I just want to ask for help in figuring out what's happening to me mentally for these past few weeks."
"I see. Please feel free to share to me what's going on and we'll see what we can do."
Helena proceeds to share her dreams for the past few weeks and also what her current mental state is.
"I can see that you are experiencing possible early onsets of Anxiety. But it's too early to completely say that you indeed have anxiety. What I can suggest is, you continue to draw what you are dreaming, and come visit me once every week to share your experience and maybe together, we can figure out this puzzle."
"Okay, I will do that,"
"For now, just don't overthink it. Just keep doing your exercise routine and get some fresh air. Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages cause it would just make you feel worse. Here's my business card, call me if you need help."
"Thank you sir, I really appreciate that. I'll be back next week. Again thank you very much."
Helena leaves the office and gets back to her car. She drivers off and upon her way home, she sees a music store along the way. She stops by take a look at the instruments.
"I dreamt of being able to play the violin. But as far as I can recall, I don't know how to play any musical instruments. Maybe I'll buy a violin and learn it."
She asks the store attendant on what violin he can recommend.
"Ma'am, if you are just a beginner, you can you for a beginner violin. I good for it's price range. But if you want a better sounding one, you can go for our mid-tier violins ranging from Php8,000.00 to Php15,000.00."
"I'll take that 15 thousand priced violin."
She then buys the guitar and heads home to try and learn it. Upon arriving home, she quickly opens it and did a quick search online on how to play the violin.
"Okay, that looks quite complicated. So I need to put this rosin thing into the bow before I can play this. I'll need to watch some YouTube tutorials on this."
She found some video tutorials and watched it.
"Hmmm, these guys are funny and rude at the same time. I'll add this TwoSet Violin channel to subscription list. Maybe I'll learn some other tips from them."
After spending a few hours learning the violin. She starts to find it easier to play. Starts to play Pachelbel's Canon in D.
"That's strange, the guys from TwoSet Violin said it's impossible to learn the violin in one day. Maybe they are just wrong."
While continuously playing the violin, Helena suddenly felt dizzy. Her vison blurs and she felt a sharp pain at the back of her head. She felt nauseous so she rushes to the bathroom and she throws up at the toilet.
A few moments later, she felt a bit better, so she goes to the sink and cleans her face and mouth. She then walks slowly and heads to her bedroom. She turns off the bedroom lights and she lies on her bed.
"I don't feel so good, maybe I'll sleep this off for a bit and it will go away."
