Rolf’s POV. I lay sprawled on my bed, enjoying the feeling of being right and on time once again. A smug grin stretched across my face, and it was one of pure satisfaction. I couldn’t help but laugh under my breath as I thought about Diana. She had been so predictable, so easy to read even after all these years. There was this look in her eyes. She was obviously conflicted, and torn, and the pain in her face was unmistakable. It was the same look she had when we first realized we were mates.
