Diana’s Pov
Lucian collapsed against Jared's chest and my heart lurched. I rushed forward to meet them, my hand touching his neck before I could think about it. Jared snarled at me, I winced pulling my hand back and dragging off my hood. He slackened a little, his rage simmering.
"Don't you dare?" Lucian stuttered, his voice low and weak, I smiled looking at him.
"Tsk," Jared muttered and I had to stop myself from laughing, it really wasn't called for.
"I'm sorry Luna," he replied. I wanted to correct him, I wasn't his Luna likely would never be but that wasn't the most pressing matter at the moment, so I ignored it drawing closer to Lucian. The pack healer was already there,
"What is wrong with him?" I asked, touching his neck, he was burning.
