I was occupied in my office, trying to sort out the files from the previous day. I had not taken work seriously due to Malia’s health, she was my betrothed, what would people have said if I wasn't holding her hands all through?
Suddenly a faint cry disrupted my thoughts, the cry became louder and louder. “Somebody, please help me.” It was Malia, she was trying to speak to me through the mind link.
My heart dropped. She was in a state of panic and deep fear, I needed to concentrate to know where she was. “Malia, where are you?” I didn't get any response and the more I waited, the more I could feel Malia’s emotions intensifying.
