I was waiting for Ryland by his car as we didn’t have our last class together. I was anxious to get back to look through the boxes and he should have been out by now, so I kept my eyes on the door, waiting for him. And soon enough I saw him coming out, the biggest smile came onto his lips when he looked up and saw me, I automatically smiled back.
“Hey, babe,” he said, kissing me when he approached.
“Mmm, hello,” I mumbled into the kiss.
The kiss was short and sweet, Ryland pulling away first.
“Ready to go home” he asked.
“Yes. I need to know what is inside those boxes,” I sighed, “Can we get a pizza on the way” I added.
Pizza was my comfort food, and something tells me I will need it when I’m looking through those boxes.
“Yes, of course, and ice cream too”
