I had been freaking out about proposing since I decided I was going to do it. I thought I was crazy when the idea first came into my head because we were still young and in high school. But, those doubts didn’t last long because I knew without a single doubt in my mind that Gracie was the one for me. I had no clue if she would even want that right now. And when she didn’t answer me a first, my first thought was ‘f**k, I have messed all of this up’, I was so happy when Gracie proved me wrong, though.
I couldn’t believe that I was engaged! And the smile that has not left Gracie’s face since I asked, that alone was enough to make me happy.
