It had been a few days since the run in between Ryland and my dad. I had been avoiding home as much as I could, needless to say that every time I was home, Ryland was there too. My dad has stayed out of my way. Sadly I know that won’t last and despite that fact I was going to take full advantage of it while I can. But today I had other things to think about.
I was meeting Ryland’s mom! Well, meeting her again, though now officially as Ryland’s girlfriend!
I was a nervous wreck. I was surprised when he asked me to join them for dinner so she could get to know me properly. I didn’t think he was the type, but then again, I am learning new things about him every day. It was part of the enjoyment of a new relationship, getting to know the other person.
