I stood still, taking a while for me to realize someone was at the door. But yeah, that someone was Alpha King Allerik. What was he doing, and what happened?
Looking at him now, I felt I wasn't really ready to see him like my heart wanted. Our eyes were still locked, speechless together, and kept thinking different things.
I wanted to cry but doing that in front of him was going to make me look stupid. I escaped from him, so why would I cry? Except for the fact he came back searching.
I wasn't entirely sure though, he must first reveal his intentions for being here before I could react and pronounce judgment. He averted his gaze and it was now scanning my belly. F**k! Did he find out already?
