"You do understand what I mean more than anybody else, my daughter. You can tell me. Do you know why I always hold your hand whenever you come to me? Because I wanted to be sure if it was pregnancy. Now, nothing would convince me otherwise, not even you."
He said and I sighed, immediately looking away. I did not know what to tell him or how to say it. My child's father is an Alpha and he's engaged, he wouldn't believe I am carrying his child because he thinks I slept with his brother. How does that sound?
