Nathans Pov

I don't even need to google the number I know sylvester, I have done a lot of business with him over the years.

I choose to go out into the kitchen and make the call, there is no reason for her to hear this call, so while I am getting pills and water ready I call Sylvester. It only rings briefly before he picked up the phone.

" Nathan, it's been a long time since I heard from you."

" Hi Sylvester yeah its been a while"

" I'm calling on one of your employees. Her name is hailey."

Not on my f*****g terms if she should work there, just the thought makes me angry, I know she's getting mad at what I've done right now but thats just a shame, i Will handle it when times comes. But my girl is not going to work in a place where the guys drool all over her all evening long, No f*****g way.

I take a deep breath and let myself cool down before taking the glass and the pills and going back to Hailey again.

When I come in she is already sleeping, I sit down next to her and put my hand on her shoulder and whispered " Babe."

She opens her eyes in half.

" Drink this,"

she sits up looking at me and puts the pills in her mouth and drinks half the glass, and gives me the rest and then she lies down again and whispers quietly " thank you."

She fell asleep immediately. I took the bags on the floor that steven had put there earlier and I walked towards my walk in closet.

And here I spent the next hour making room for her so she could have her own space and then I hung up her clothes. I have not even hung up my own clothes, I never hang up clothes, which however I do want to do for her. When I'm done I go in and sneak into the bed next to her.

I'll just lay down and observe her while she sleeps. A calm I have not had for over 5 years spreads in me and I fall asleep with her.

A little while later I wake up to some small howling noises, and a faint voice crying " please stop." I stroke her quietly on the cheek and whisper in her ear. " i'm here Babe" Her body responds to my touch and she relaxes again and her breathing becomes quiet again. And with a smile on my face I sneak closer to her and she responds by cuddling all the way to my body and laying her head up on my chest and I sneak my hand around her. And then I fall asleep.

The next morning I woke up fresh and well rested. I have not slept so many hours and so well for over 5 years but when I open my eyes hailey is gone.

Haileys pov.

I wake up by a small ray of sunshine shining through the small crack where the curtains meet. I'm laying in Nathan's arms, luckily it was not a dream or a craving, He really is here, dahm how I have missed him. I give him a gentle kiss on the cheek before I get out of the bed, I have to find a toilet and maybe a shower.

I quickly find the toilet, it's as big as my apartment. I'm totally amazed at how luxurious it is.

Our lives are so different, he must have worked hard to get all this. Maybe he's a lawyer, they earn at least so much so they can afford that kind of luxury.

I never got my education done, I couldn't, I had it terrible the first few years after our family trip to Italy, and to forget the pain i ended up in alcohol and drugs, it's only 2 years since i started in therapy and got out of it, it was julie who helped me through it. had it not been for her I would probably have ended up as a prostitute or dead.

It was her who helped me get me my job, and even though I got a good contract and the money is good, it was just not the way I had imagined my life would be like. I had so many plans, I let out a sigh.

As I sit down on the toilet and pee I can feel a small burning pain, Victoria had told me that it would probably be uncomfortable the first couple of days when I peed.

When I'm done I take my clothes off and go into the shower, my mind is everywhere, my life sucks, i Will never be good enough for him, i Will never allow to take him down with me, I'm a mess.

a tear rolled down my cheek, as I sat under the water. I bend my knees and took my hands around my legs and let my head fall down in between. And then I broke down.

Nathans pov.

I get up from the bed and went to the bathroom. I can hear the water in the shower and think it's nice to see she is up and has taken a shower, I choose not to go out there and instead give her some freedom.

I decide to go towards the kitchen to make breakfast ready for us. Half an hour later I set the table and got ready for us to eat. Now I just have to pick her up, so I go to the bedroom but she is not there, instead I go to the bathroom and the sound from the shower is still there,

I open the door to the bathroom and go towards the shower I can already see through the frosted glass that hailey is sitting on the floor. I open the glass door, turn off the water, reach my hand down after her and say.

"come on honey."

Her skin is almost completely dissolved. She must have been sitting out there for over an hour if not more, her whole body shaking and her eyes blurred by tears. Since she does not respond to my voice or my hand I take her and lift her up, take her out and put her on the bathroom sink, I take a towel and put over her back and another towel I wrap her hair in.

I lift her chin so she can look me in the eyes but I can't make any contact. It's as if she is not present.

"Honey," I whisper to her

No response

"Honey," I say a little louder, and then she looks at me, " Jesus honey, how long have you been sitting out there," I asked her.

But she did not answer me; she just lifted her shoulders.

It hurts so much to see her like that.

" I have made breakfast ready for us if you are hungry."

" You shouldn't bother" she answer me

What's going on with her? I'm not used to such things here at all, I'm the son of a mafia legend for christ sake.

" Of course I do, I want to give you the whole world if you want it," I tried to say in a slightly more cheerful voice, but it did not help either. She just looked me deep in my eyes and said ice cold.

" Why waste your life on someone like me Nathan, I have nothing to off ... "

I hurried to put my hand around her mouth before she could finish talking.

" Don't you dare finish that sentence" I said with a sharper tone, the tone I use when I really mean it.

" Hailey got dammit what's up with you, I know you're having a hard time right now, but never talk about yourself like that again.

I still mean everything I said to you in Italy, Nothing has changed," I tried to say in a slightly gentler voice.

She looked up at me and while a tear rolled down her cheek she opened her mouth again," I will not drag you down Nathan. I can't do that, take a look around you, how you build all this, I have nothing, not even an education. I have nothing to offer you."

" Stop hailey." I said out loud, it gave a set in her,

" Please stop. I can't listen to you talk about yourself like that. " I said in a gentler voice. I put my hands on her thighs and while I pushed her legs quietly apart I snuck into them so I was as close to her as I could get, and with my face quite close to hers I said.

" Hailey You are what I want, I've known that since the first day I met you on the beach in Italy. I've been looking for you since I was 18."

her tears are falling down her cheek, but I don't care right now she needs to hear this so I continue.

" I have missed you so deeply since my father tore me away from you, I have hated my father for it ever since and I have sworn I will hate him until the day you were in my arms again, I have over 100 men who everyone has the picture I took of us when we had our picnic date, everyone only out looking for you when we have been here in the city and believe me we have been here many times, I have not had a single day the last 5 years, where i have slept more than 3-4 hours, tonight I slept almost 6 hours in a row, so do not come and tell me that you are not good enough for me when in fact you are the only one for me. "

And then she finally kissed me, I let my hands slide up her thighs and her body reacted right away. I love the way her body reacts to every single touch I give her the way she makes me feel complet.

Hearing those things was what I needed to hear, that what happened between us in Italy was not just a big fat joke or a lie that what we experienced together was true love. I so much want Him right now but He's right it's not good right now. But because I can't, it does not mean he can't. So I said to him.

" Sit down " I say to him when he reaches the bed and he does so.

I put my hands on each side of his face, raise it a little to the back still intense eye contact as I say to him
