I barely slept that night. I read random passages from my books and watched random videos on my phone. Thank God for 4G, the broadband in the house was still in the works and it was the country so anyhow it wouldn't be stellar. I jumped when I heard odd sounds and at one point blockaded my bedroom with one of the nightstands. I know it was stupid or maybe it wasn't. But no matter how much I read or watched images of Ruari came flashing to mind. Ruari when we first met, in his dust brown breeches and green paddy cap. A really sound fellow. Then I saw him when he first introduced me to Michael as if I was joining their GAA club instead of negotiating a house sale. He made me feel comfortable under Michael's harsh glares and interrogation. I'll admit I didn't know the man quite that well but
