I had to walk 20 minutes out of town to find a bike repair shop and they graciously allowed me to sit there while they worked on the tire. I didn't even care how much it costs, whatever it was I would pay. I crossed my ankles, listening to the mechanical numbers at the back as I scrolled through my phone, sighing loudly at regular intervals like a  lovesick Disney princess.  I had left Dublin for some peace and tranquility. I didn't even want to dwell on the irony of that. I clicked on my contacts and perused through them aimlessly. My fingers hovered over Michael's name. I thought of that strange phone call with his mother yesterday. What were the actual odds,  I mean he did say he was a family friend of Ruari's so why not his mother?  I wanted to phone him to tell him what I had learne
