Stand Off
Anna and Tom made it to the square in the center of town. They looked around for Jasmine and Kevin and could not find them anywhere. They had found them before, but when a group of six werewolf soldiers attacked, they had lost them again. As they ran through the little town, they noticed that some of the buildings and shops that bordered the square were on fire. Black and gray smoke billowed from the buildings into the air. The smoke made the air very stuffy and made it a little harder to breathe. Dead bodies of humans, werewolves, and military soldiers littered the streets. Anna recognized Andrew and Cara.
