I sniffle into his chest. Why does everyone keep saying that? It’s my damn virginity I should be able to choose who, when, and how I lose it for f***s sake. Not knowing what else to say I whisper “okay” into his chest as I try to stop the tears that just keep coming.
Jace rubs my back soothingly, without saying anything he just holds me for what feels like forever but I’m sure it was only about ten minutes if that even that long. When I finally get the tears under control Jace pulls away, places a gentle kiss on my lips and continues our drive back home.
“Baby wake up, were home.” Jace says quietly shaking my shoulder. I guess I fell asleep on the way home. Today was an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows but mostly highs. It was a perfect day, and I hope we do it again.
