Ok, now I am completely awake and scared. I have seen too many movies and I know this is not a cute thing and usually, the next frame is a crime scene.

I get up slowly and take the safe box where my gun is.

I walk silently across the room, gun in hand, and very slowly I open the curtain, I don't see anything.

I walk around the apartment without finding anything strange, that terrifies me much more.

As I read that last message, a call comes in and makes me jump with fear. The mobile falls to the ground and breaks in two.

No, no, no ... damn it, it's useless.

I am so scared that I shake like jelly, I have never felt fear like this. I have training in self-defense and handling guns, but still, I feel defenseless.

I do the only thing that seems logical to me at the moment. I run to the home phone and call Matt, he's the only one who lives close enough to get here in minutes.
