“I asked for the truth, I didn't ask you to tell me silly jokes.”
Those were the words that flowed out of Aria's mouth as I told her Dimitri was my secret admirer. There was no iota of belief on her face, and it only made me burst out in laughter.
“I knew you were joking with me. Please stop playing expensive jokes, you'd better not say this outside. His majesty would have your head.” She said, giving me a stern look.
How else am I supposed to tell her that she'll believe me?
I was still laughing, trying hard to stop my fits of laughter, but I was so amused. If I wasn't actually the one it was happening to, I myself wouldn't have believed what I told her.
“But I'm not joking…”
“Rose…..” She called, staring at me and waiting for when I'll probably burst out laughing again
