It was at the last minute that I heard Klaus walking into the cottage. I could've thought it was Aria , but I had this gut feeling that it was Klaus.
I quickly put everything in order and took off the sleeveless top I was initially wearing. I put on a turtle neck, completely hiding Dimitri's mark. Just as I finished putting on the cloth, Klaus walked in.
I would give anything in the world to watch again how his expression fell from happy to angry when he saw how healthy I was. I knew he was hoping I'd be miserable and dying since he left me to condemnation for 14 days.
For some weird reasons, I no longer felt the fear I usually feel anytime I was around Klaus. I held a completely blank expression, ready for whatever he was ready to bring on.
