The minute I woke up from sleep, I instantly hated the day. I didn't know the specific reason why I felt that way, but I just knew I hated the day.
The only thing that made this morning good was the fact that I had gone to drop her normal treats, hoping it would soothe her. I contemplated adding flowers, but I decided against it. I didn't want to do too much.
“Maybe it's because tonight is the full moon which means the celebration is taking place, or you hate today because you were being an asshole and was unable to help Rose last night!” Kale's voice held anger as he said the last sentence and I almost rolled my eyes.
“Do not add to my lists of predicaments this morning.”
