Dimitri stared at him in disgust as he gnashed his jaw. I walked towards him and placed my hand on his shoulder.
“It's okay. Give me time to talk to him.” I said in a soft voice, gazing into his grey eyes. He nodded his head before taking his eyes off Jake.
“Okay. If he tries anything, call for me immediately and I'll be here in seconds.”
I nodded my head in agreement before he finally walked out, leaving us alone. My gaze was back to Jake, hard and unblinking. I stood there, weighing my decision of talking to him, but then again, he did mention my mother.
I turned around and walked back to the chaise lounge chairs with Jake trailing closely behind me. Soon, we were seated right opposite each other as I folded my arms while waiting for him to start talking.
