At first, I thought someone talked to me, and that my hiding spot had been found out. Immediately, I looked around but there was nobody in sight.
I was still looking around, trying to get the source of the voice when it registered in my brain that it was her voice.
Am I so pulled by her sadness that I've begun to imagine things?
“Did you hear that?” Kale asked, confusion coating his words.
