In less than a few minutes, I was dressed and out of the bed, prepared to make my way back home. Different possibilities ran through my head of what could be wrong.
I navigated the busy streets of the city with enough speed to get me home in time but not enough to get me a speeding ticket.
Not like I can be given a ticket in this city due to my influence.
Of all the thoughts that ran through my head, I could only hope there was no trouble with the pack and I wasn't going home to meet a disaster.
